On March 4, Ambassador Guo Haiyan and Honorable Dr. Frank Anthony, Minister of Health, witnessed the signing of Agreement on the Cooperation of Training Program for the Guyanese Resident Doctors. The two discussed the cooperation in health sector between China and Guyana. Mr. Hu Hanming, Economic & Commercial Counselor of the Embassy, and Mr. Malcolm Watkins, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health signed the Agreement on behalf of two parties respectively. On the same day, Mr. Hu Hanming also attended the handover ceremony of medical supplies from Chinese Government to Guyana.
