The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Guyana is closely following the accident involving the MV Barima ferry and the ongoing search and rescue operations. The Embassy extends its sincere sympathies to the Government and people of Guyana, expresses its deep condolences over the loss of lives, and conveys its heartfelt concern to the passengers and crew members affected by the accident, as well as their families.
