On June 26, the Chinese Embassy in Guyana, the United Nations Office in Guyana and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Guyana jointly held an event marking the International Day of Women in Diplomacy under the theme“Women in Diplomacy: Culture, Soft Power and Inclusive Leadership.”H.E. Ambassador Yang Yang, Ms. Jean Kamau, UN Resident Coordinator in Guyana, and Ambassador Donnette Streete of the Guyanese Foreign Ministry attended and delivered remarks.
