Ambassador Yang stated that Chinese-style modernization will lead China's economy to a new stage of development characterized by higher quality, greater efficiency, and stronger resilience, while also bringing enormous dividends and opportunities to developing countries including Guyana. China is willing to strengthen the alignment of its development strategies with Guyana's within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, and to implement concrete and meticulous “hard connectivity”, “soft connectivity”, and “heart-to-heart connectivity”, so that the fruits of cooperation can benefit more people of all ethnic groups in Guyana.
