On March 5th, Chinese Ambassador to Guyana Mrs. Guo Haiyan, accompanied by Embassy's Counselor (Economic and Commercial Affairs) Mr. Li Hanqing, met with Mr. Ramsay Ali, President of Guyana Manufacturing & Services Association, to discuss the upcoming 135th Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China. Ambassador Guo extended an invitation to GMSA members to join the event, emphasizing its role as a prime trading hub connecting global buyers. The fair will run from April 15 to May 5, 2024, and also feature an online platform from March 16 to September 15, 2024. 

Also in attendance were Mr. Chet Bowling (GMSA ICT Sub-Sector Chairman), Mr. David Carto and Mr. Raymond Ramsaroop (GMSA Board Members), Mr. Nizam Hassan (Executive Director), and Govindra Raghubansi (Economist).
