Recently, the Chinese Embassy in Guyana held a reception for Guyanese Alumni of Chinese Government Scholarship, Ambassador Guo Haiyan attended and addressed, nearly 50 representatives of Guyanese Graduates participated, Counselor Li Hanqing moderated the event.

Ambassador Guo indicated that, over the past 5 years, nearly 50 excellent young Guyanese were awarded Chinese Government Scholarships, and over 400 excellent talents of Guyana participated China-aided training courses. Each of the graduates is promoter, participant and witness of the friendship between China and Guyana. She encouraged all the graduates to actively dedicate themselves to Guyana’s development, and to be contributors of China-Guyana friendship.

Graduate representatives shared their unforgettable memories and valuable experiences in China, shown their wishes to further deepen friendship and practical cooperation between China and Guyana.
