On Nov. 5th, the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and Hongqiao International Economic Forum declared open in Shanghai. Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended the ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. Leaders of many countries and international organizations, as well as 1,500 representatives from 154 countries, regions and international organizations attended. 

Dr. Peter Ramsaroop, Chief Executive Officer of Guyana Investment Office, led a delegation to attend the Expo and was invited to attend the opening ceremony. The Expo features a Guyana Pavilion, showcasing Guyana's export products and investment promotion materials. 

The CIIE is the world's first national-level expo dedicated to imports. Adhering to the theme of 'New Era, Shared Future,' the 6th CIIE has attracted more than 3,400 exhibitors and 410,000 professional visitors registered to attend, marking a full return to pre-pandemic levels.
