On August 31, Ambassador Guo Haiyan received a courtesy call by His Worship Alfred Mentore, Mayor of Georgetown and his colleagues. 

Ambassador Guo said that local government exchanges and cooperation is an important part of bilateral relations. The Embassy is willing to provide necessary support and assistance for Georgetown city to enhance exchanges and cooperation with Fuzhou and other cities in China.
