On November 3rd, the CFO of AGM/Zijing Mining Group Peter Luo handed over the key of a garbage truck to His worship Ubraj Narine, Mayor of Georgetown. Ambassador Guo Haiyan and Honorable Nigel Dharamlall, Minister of Local Government and Regional Development attended the donation ceremony.

In her remarks, Ambassador Guo Haiyan praises the generous donation from AGM/Zijing Mining Group. She states that the donation reflects the pursuit and commitment of Chinese enterprises in Guyana to make vigorous contributions to local communities. It is also a testimony of the friendly relationship between the two countries and friendship between the sister cities Fuzhou and Georgetown. Creating a healthy and clean living environment for the people is the common goal of the government of China and the government of Guyana.    She hopes Chinese enterprises will make even bigger contributions to the economic and social development of Guyana as well as the friendship between China and Guyana.
