On the evening of September 16, at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Ambassador Guo Haiyan attended the opening ceremony of the One Guyana Festival held at the National Stadium.

The lion dance and waist drum dance brought by the Chinese Association of Guyana and Confucius Institute at University of Guyana were cheered by the audience. Ambassador GUO also visited the exhibition, including "Chinese Village" which displays Chinese food, clothing and traditional culture.
