On June 13, with the facilitation of the Embassy, "Training Course on Fish Cage Culture in Guyana", sponsored by China-Caribbean Development Center(CCDC) and hosted by Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College(SFTC) sucessfully kicked off online. Ambassador GUO Haiyan, Mr. Madanlall Ramraj, Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture of Guyana, Mr. Denzil Roberts，Chief Fisheries Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture of Guyana, Ms. CHEN Baiwei, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Province, Ms. LIU Ruiling, Director of CCDC, Mr. DIAO Jiandong, Dean of SFTC, and representatives of Guyanese fishery technical officials and fishermen attended the opening ceremony.

The 12-day training course will bring China's advanced technology and best practices in cage culture to Guyana, so as to better benefit the people of Guyana.
