During their stay in Guyana, the delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. President Bharrat Jagdeo and Hon. Prime Minister Samuel Hinds. They both expressed desires to explore opportunities for further cooperation and were satisfied about the fruitful "win-win" economic cooperations between the two nations. The delegation also met with Hon. Frank Anthony, Minister of Culture, Youths and Sports, and held discussions with members from GAFCC on further promoting and enhancing bilateral friendship.

The delegation attended the dinner hosted by the Hon. Prime Minister Samuel Hinds, who is also the honorary chairman of GAFCC. In recognition of his long term contribution to the promotion of the friendly relations between China and Guyana, President Cheng Siwei, on behalf of the CLACFA, awarded the Prime Minister Samuel Hinds with the "China-Latin America and Caribbean Friendship Medal".
